Today was another more different day, but don't worry; there were no ninjas. I spent most of my time in the warehouse, filling out spreadsheets (I know, how fun) with the names and details of different colleges. I must have filled in at least 22 different colleges!
After that, we set out to do some volunteer work, giving out flyers for some free internet training sessions. Of course, in this day and age, most people know how to use the internet, making our job a lot harder. But in the end, we did manage to get rid of all the flyers, by giving handfuls out to shops, sticking them in cars and letterboxes, and we even managed to find some people who didn't know how to use the internet! In the end, we finished so quickly, we left 2 hours early!
What I learned today:
- Spreadsheets are boring, but can get done quickly if you work together
- How to give out flyers in a very short space of time
