NINJAS ATTACKED!
...Not really. But a group of builders appeared almost instantly outside our window, and scraed the ever-loving sh- sugar out of Hannah and Sadia! I suppose they were a herald for worse thing yet to come...Soon after these mysterious builders, another group of builder turned up inside the warehouse. They got to work, with some kind of petrol-powered equipment. I say "petrol-powered" as the whole warehouse was soon filled with fumes that stank of petrol!
After a while, the stench was too much to handle, and we made a run for it. First we went for a lunch break, then we went to the office (the one I though I was to work in-keep up!) to ask if we could leave. Mark agreed to call James, and we proceeded to head off for Starbucks. As we got to Starbucks, we saw James! We sat down to coffee (hot chocolate for me-I hate coffee), and it turns out that what James though was supposed to be the arrangement was;
"Builders will be around for half an hour, Jon will look after the interns."
What the actual situation was;
"Builders were around for AGES, no one supervising."
What I learned today:
- Organisation is key
- So is ingenuity
- Starbucks hot chocolate can scald your tongue if you drink it straight away
- If you inhale enough petrol fumes, you go a little loopy
- Fish can give pedicures (don't ask)
