Day 2!

It's been my second day at work experience, and today I actually got down to some work!
Today I started the jobs I was assigned yesterday; I had finished the logos yesterday, so I had to update Push's Facebook page, and make some text scroll upwards with HTML. The first task was easy; I had in done in a matter of minutes. The second task.....not so much. A picture is worth a thousand words, so let this very-quickly-put-together comic explain my dilemma;
A computer that cannot recognise "up" as meaning "up" is frustrating, to say the least. But I did learn some very interesting and very helpful things about website design, like HTML and Webdeck (which allows you to manage and edit a website) , which I am sure will help me a lot. And while the computer did not allow me to make an upward-moving marquee, I did learn how to make sideways-moving ones, with both text and pictures, another useful skill.

Things I learned today:
  • How to use Webdeck
  • The basics of HTML
